a pre foreclosure/short sale home
- Ask the estate agent if the home you are interested in has been released by the bank and ready for purchase
- If you offer on a short sale the purchase process can take up to 10 months and most likely you will never be able to buy the home.
- I have met several investors who have spent a lot of time looking and offering on short sale properties just to find out after 5 months that the purchase did not go through
- Realtors will continue to advertise the unit and take offers on the property in some cases there could be 10 offers on the unit and you may never know this.
